In week 14, the following topics were discussed:
- Discrete Distribution – Expressed in the form of a table, Expected Value E(X), Variance VAR(X)
- Special Distribution — Binomial
- 2 outcomes, namely success/failure
- 2 parameters (n, p), where n is the number of trials, p is the probability of success - Special Distribution — Poisson
- average number of outcome per time interval or per specified region
- 1 parameter (λ Lambda), where λ is the average number of outcome
- Note that λ value will need to be changed according to situations
