Learning System Support HelpDesk

Dear Students,

The Learning System Support HelpDesk (LSS HelpDesk) for DASM, DEE, DECC, DMIT and DTMT students is located at eLP@Blk P. The HelpDesk will help you if you have problems accessing/using Learning Systems like wireless acess, HeuCampus access, CMS access etc on your notebook PCs, you are encouraged to read the online guides and manuals on the mPowered LaunchPAD or myNYP Portal to troubleshoot the problems yourself before seeking assistance at the LSS HelpDesk.

With effect from Academic Year 08/09 Semester 1, the operations of the LSS HelpDesk is as follows:

  1. Operational hours of the LSS HelpDesk at the eLP@Blk P is from 8am to 6pm Monday to Friday.
  2. Two methods of servicing students.
    1. Walk-in to eLP@Blk P, or
    2. Book by Appointment, via phone (6550 1951) or at eLP@Blk P
  3. For walk-in students, if there is no queue in the system, they will be attended on the spot. If not, they will be queued, in which case, priority will be given to students who had made a prior appointment.
  4. For students who have made an appointment, and if they failed to turn up, the booked slot shall be released for other students in the walk-in queue.

We hope this system will serve most of the needs of our students and we will fine-tune it along the way. Thank you for your attention.
