As you know, NYP has a campus wireless LAN put in place to provide you with wireless Internet access as well as facilitating your learning using Notebook PC on the campus.
In an effort to further enhance the access speed of the wireless network, the Polytechnic has just set up a new high speed wireless LAN, which will co-exist with the current wireless LAN. To start with, this new high speed wireless LAN is available for access at the following locations on a trial basis: Tutorial Rooms at Block P Level 5 & 6, Tutorial Rooms at Block S Level 4. Please note that the current exisitng wireless LAN remains the main wireless network until the new high speed network is officially launched.
For students who wish to experience and try out the new wireless network, you would need to configure your Notebook PC accordingly. Please go to http://www.nyp.edu.sg/cnc/wireless_hdhapilot.html to download the configuration guides and other relevant information.
